The Girl Scouts of America confirmed today (read here) that they are reducing the number of cookies in each box, by two or four, to combat the rising cost of making them.
But, that’s the only thing that will change.
You will still be accosted by throngs of young girls placed strategically at every entrance of every grocery, convenient and department store from now until May. Every day at the office, you will still be asked by Susie’s mom and Brittany’s grandmother if you’re interested in supporting their local Girl Scout troops with the purchase of delicious Thin Mints, Peanut Butter Sandwiches, Shortbread Cookies, DoSiDos or Trefoils.
And you’ll still sigh, mutter “Seriously, didn’t they just knock on my door last month?” under your breath and then enthusiastically chirp, “Absolutely!”
Because Thin Mints are absolutely delicious. Even if four are no more.
